EXIT 1st REALTY in Haverhill Donates to Local Annual Holiday Charity

EXIT 1st REALTY is a full service real estate brokerage with offices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Instead of having a formal Company holiday party this year they decided to donate the money they would have used on the party to support local charities. The EXIT 1st REALTY Haverhill Office distributed all their donated toys and food to "Ozzie's Kids", which is a program run by a local Haverhill MA Police Officer.

Officer Osmond "Ozzie'' Hardy started giving toys to little kids 24 years ago when he only had 25 kids. Hardy's annual program of gift-giving begins in September when many of his long-time supporters contact him asking what his program's most urgent needs are for the holiday season. Businesses help, as do many local schools, providing Hardy with gifts and in some cases cash donations that he spends on items he will distribute throughout December.

"This year he has 850 kids he is giving toys to. Each kid gets 5 gifts. It’s a really great program.” said Exit 1^st Realty Agent Elia Kopreski. "Officer Hardy also took the large box of food that all of our agents donated to some mothers at a safe house as well as the local food pantry.”

Real Estate Brokerage Scales Back Holiday Party To Help Those That Are Less Fortunate

Exit 1^st Realty a full service real estate brokerage with offices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire made the decision that instead of having a formal Company holiday party they would donate the money they would have used on the party to Families in Transition (FIT) based out of Manchester, New Hampshire and support the local Toys for Tots toy campaign.

"Exit 1^st decided as a Company to enjoy the holidays together a bit more simply by hosting individual parties at each of the office locations with staff and agents pitching in with a pot-luck item and a toy donation for Toys for Tots.”  Says Marlene Minemier, Owner of Exit 1^st Realty. "This is the time of year we all need to get a little creative and stretch our holiday dollars as far as they can go to support more than one cause.”

(Grassroots Newswire) During these very difficult times for local families, EXIT 1st REALTY will be collecting non-perishable food items to benefit the Salvation Army Food Pantries located in Brockton MA, Haverhill MA, and Concord NH. The food drive will be held from now until December 19^th.

These locations will be providing food for approximately 5,000 individuals during their Holiday Food Pantry.  Help us make this holiday season a happy one for the families who attend these pantries. No one should go hungry. Hunger, the most basic of needs, is one of the biggest problems the Salvation Army addresses. People are encouraged to donate canned goods, such as corn, peas and sweet potatoes, cereals, stuffing, baking goods, kid’s snacks and pasta. Give the Gift of Food this Holiday Season!

This convention is an annual event that brings top real estate professionals together to interact and learn from each other.  The convention is designed to promote discussions about issues and trends in the real estate market. The Hyatt Regency at Reunion in Dallas, Texas was blanketed in teal for a full week of festivities.  A high point of the event was the special awards ceremony presided over by EXIT Realty Corp. International CEO and Founder, Steve Morris.
